What is a bucket light?
A bucket light is a utility bucket which has been converted into a camping
light. You won't believe the many uses or rugged durability of a bucket light.

Why would anyone want a bucket light?
They produce a pleasing, diffuse light that lights up your entire campsite while not offending you or your neighbors with glare.They are lightweight, easy-to-store,
easy-to-use, stand up to the elements and look great! Bucket lights are a great
gift for the camper in your life. I guarantee you they will love it.

Do you have bucket lights in different colors?
We only sell white bucket lights. We have found that colored buckets do not
produce the same illuminating effect as standard white utility buckets. However,
you can change the color as often as you want by using a colored bulb in your
bucket light. We suggest 60 watt CFL colored bulbs available at Wal-Mart,
Home Depot, home improvement and chain stores everywhere. Colored bulbs come in a variety of colors including red, yellow, green, black and blue. Look
to the pics on the left for example. Have a different color for each season! They
are great for holidays! If you want to change the color, it's as simple as changing
the bulb. Why limit yourself to a colored bucket that you can only use in one color?

Can I use the camping bucket light inside my tent?
Yes, our bucket light is safe to use indoors.

What if it rains on my camping bucket light?
No worries. Our camping bucket light is designed to be leak proof. You can leave
it on during a rain storm, and not a single drop of water will find it's way inside.
As always, safety was our number one concern when designing our bucket light.

Do I just sit the camping bucket light on the ground?
You can use the bucket light in many different ways. You can sit them on the ground,
hang them from your awning, hang them from a tree or hook, or sling them high into
trees. Our light is designed to always be cool to the touch. You won't have to worry
about heat from our light burning what you sit it on. Hang the light anywhere to
illuminate your entire campsite without harsh glare or attracting bugs. You won't
believe the many uses of a bucket light.
